General English courses allow you to increase the ability to express yourself in daily life through written and spoken practice. The lessons you take with our instructors, all of whom are certified teachers, will make you feel confident in speaking English and will make you experience the difference of learning English from native speakers and expert teachers. Our General English courses aim to improve all 4 skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening. We are at your service and provide face-to-face or online options for General English Courses. Our face-to-face English lessons take place on site at our English House Temara.

This General English program follows the same teaching methodology as our face-to-face lessons so you can learn at exactly the same pace without leaving the comfort of your own home.
You’ll learn techniques to develop all four key English skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking (including pronunciation).

ONE-TO-ONE
A teacher dedicated entirely to you and your learning goals. Learn at English House or online.
One-to-one lessons are for students who want to focus on their specific goals and needs, at their own preferred pace.  You can take a full course of one-to-one lessons or in addition to your group General English, Exam or Executive course for an extra learning boost.

Young learners
A few months in a young learner’s life can bring new confidence, new English language skills, and new friends from all over the region.
The EH Temara Young Learner experience is transformational and helps young students on their path towards a bright and successful future.
All our young learner courses are crafted by Cambridge university, Oxford, Pearson, Macmillan and Cengage.
We have courses for all English levels, from beginner to advanced, and for a range of interests to excite your child. New courses include tactile activities (painting, drawing, crafting, coloring, outdoor activities and other extra activities that stimulate learning in a comfortable environment.
Your child can learn while they are busy having fun.

What will I learn?
1. General English classes, with the addition of special focus classes, will enhance your English language and culture skills, across social, work and academic settings.
2. In these classes students can develop a range of valuable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, analyzing information, and developing their own opinions and ideas. Teachers carefully select materials which encourage teamwork and collaboration.
3. Focus on functional language and vocabulary that is used in day-to-day life. Topics may include requesting information, asking for and giving advice, making plans, or talking about personal interests.
4. Respond to the world by improving your reading and listening skills, with authentic texts such as newspapers, video clips, pod-casts, or blogs. Create presentations and write articles to express your ideas. Research trips to museums and galleries to expand the learning experience.
5. Develop a range of skills that are needed in academic, business, and social settings. Focus on key topics and take part in group or individual projects, including having debates and making presentations. Students are encouraged to think critically and evaluate information.
